Poetics - 2013

The mirrors are part of some jobs (for example, "Sequences suspended") and create a play of light and reflections, revealing hidden photographic visions. 

The works with the cloth are part of a project started in 2012. The fabric used is a living and adaptable reused cloth. It became part of my installations and large plexiglass paintings. 

In the installation "A matter of physics", the cloth is a wedding dress on which a jar of orange enamel was dropped. Nothing happens by chance, so the color became part of the project, and since under the dress there was a large sheet of plexiglass, the imprint became essential for the birth of another work: "Impress". The work "A matter of physics" wants to reconsider the wedding dress as the archetypal collective that brings together people with different stories. It 'a human symbol that, for the artist, may change when changing the history of the people.

Photographs, along with the cloth, become part of some assemblages, in "Islands" and in "Dressing of light". In other installations, the cloth is present as a strip of cotton, containing written text, in the form of stories or psychic automatism. The words surrounding the work, entering in the transparent spaces, are combined with photographs and mirrors, or bind objects, creating new semantic games.

Gli specchi sono parte di alcuni lavori (ad esempio, “Sequenze sospese”) e creano giochi di luce e riflessi, svelando visioni fotografiche nascoste.

I lavori con la stoffa recuperata fanno parte di un progetto iniziato nel 2012. La stoffa usata e vissuta è materia viva e adattabile. E’ diventata parte delle mie installazioni e dei grandi plexiglass dipinti.
Nell’installazione “Questione di fisica” il vestito è un abito da sposa di stoffa su cui è caduto un barattolo di smalto arancione. Niente è per caso, così il colore è diventato parte del progetto e, siccome sotto il vestito c’era una grande lastra di plexiglass, l’impronta è diventata fondamentale per la nascita di un altro lavoro: ”Impronta”. L'opera “Questione di fisica” vuole riconsiderare l'abito da sposa come archetipo collettivo che mette in relazione persone con storie diverse. E' un simbolo umano che, per l'artista, può cambiare quando muta la storia delle persone.  

La fotografia, insieme alla stoffa, diventa corpo e parte di alcuni assemblage, in “Isole” e in Vestirsi di luce”.
In altre installazioni, la stoffa è presente come fettuccia di cotone, contenente testo scritto, in forma di storie o automatismi psichici. Le parole circondano i lavori, entrano negli spazi trasparenti, si mescolano alle fotografie e agli specchi, oppure legano gli oggetti creando nuovi giochi semantici.
